i5 6600k @4.5Ghz
16Gb ram
1070ti 8Gb (updated to latest drivers)
The game was working fine since the it was ported to steam. I only stopped playing since the last season and tried to play D2 again today (I've kept this updated even though I haven't really played for 5mos) only to find that my controls are out of whack. Dunno what happened though.
It has something to do with you OP. Sorry I can't help you as I cannot think of something that would cause it, except maybe your drivers? Is this happening in other games too?
No worries. Yeah all my drivers are up to date especially on the graphics side. I've been able to play other games just fine except for D2. I'm still trying to compare everything and test where this crap is coming from.
Aaaaaand here is mr. janitor contemplating on data center services and server-client models.
Dat strange, it should work properly. Can you check the settings if you have the right resolution and render scale? What resolution you are playing the game at?
Also, it is worth downloading Intel XTU and run a test on the processor and the mem. I had previously issues with fried thermal paste.
Its the normal 1080p res. I have it on the highest settings before this recent issue I got but I've been trying to check all types of settings and still can't get it to work properly. I've also re-installed Corsair's iCue coz maybe its the one causing this but its still not working. CPU is okay - max temp is around 60C-65C with my AIO and is virtually stable @4.5Ghz.
I tried to lower the cpu clock to 4.1~4.3Ghz and im still getting the same $hit. I'll try and check this with a new ram to be sure but i doubt that will get this issue fixed. Probably just an isolated case for me but damn its annoying.
Is render resolution at 100% in your video settings?
