Tommy's Catalyst Reseted??

Got my Tommy's catalyst almost at 97% completion (only remained to kill 23 guardians) the rest was completed (nightmare nightfall, strikes and crucible) and the 200 autorifle kills. Remaining 1 or 2 matches of crucible to do the 23 guardian kills, i've been out for 3 days and when returned, saw a quest on Banshee and went to see. Only option: accept. Got my Tommy's Matchbox catalyst reseted. Bravo!!!
I've read that more people got the catalyst disapeared last week and Bungie fixed...sort of...now it's a 0 start, again!!!. WTF Bungie??
Anyone in the same problem?

It is a Glitch as it seems.
I finished it last season and have it in Vault with Compelted Catalyst.

I already completed the catalyst but banshee felt that I should run it back. Luckily the completed catalyst didn't disappear off of my tommy's matchbook and hopefully Bungie can fix this for you.

"Fixed an issue where the Tommy's Matchbook Catalyst quest was removed from player inventories.
Note: Players who had this quest removed have lost progress, but we have reduced the requirements of the quest to compensate."

It really sucks, mine was also almost done and now totally reset, but at least we can actually do it now, I guess?

Would have been cool if they made it like a second catalyst for the Matchbook and you could swap them out at will for different effects. I know they did it to fix the bug, but still it would have been cool as a second catalyst instead of it resetting all progress if you kept the quest.

Pvp part is horrendous annoying to do how can that be something good? Playing for 2 hours and still on 53/100. I hope it does not ''glitch'' like few have cried about.

Same. I just abandoned it. But it stays in Banshee's vendor screen every time you talk to him. There are lots of stuff like this in the game. For example i finished Bad Juju's quest. But it's still in my quests and it's glitched and can't be finished again.

without a 4x booster this reset is big bs

before you had to do 100 matches a 4 points each

Now we have to do 100 matches a 1 point each

It didn't get reduced at all!!!

Delete the Quest, once Bungie makes the hotfix if it is in your inventory you have to redo it.
