was it a glitch then? because umbral engrams for armor the last week were dropping a few levels above my current level
I think so. From what I understand, they weren't supposed to do that. It still happened to me a couple of times after Tuesday's update/patch, though, so I'm not sure if they've fixed it... maybe it's just happening less now? Or maybe there was a quiet hotfix yesterday? The last few I opened weren't higher than my level.
In theory, the soft cap is 1000, and you need Powerful drops to get to 1050, and Pinnacle to get to 1060.
Umbral engrams have been sometimes acting like Powerful drops, though... so, I don't know.
dang, yeah they must have patched it then, I think the first 3 umbral engrams each week after reset are powerful and after that they must just drop at current level, that sucks. :(
Yeah, but I think it happened after my three, though I'm not 100% sure about that... I wasn't exactly paying attention.
I just have this feeling that I got more "high level rewards" than I was supposed to, even after Tuesday, but then it stopped and started behaving normally, so it did feel like they changed something yesterday. Just a guess, though.
Any idea what time? I was playing late last night/early this morning, so if it happened early enough, that might explain why I thought it was "yesterday" (whereas it would have actually been this morning really early).
