So many quests linked to arsing Crucible

So I have to get 100 grenade launcher kills in Crucible, an utterly impossible weapon to use in there

And I also have to do a quest where I kill guys in there without dying, or it takes years.

Why are so many damn quests in this game linked to a game mode that the vast majority do not like playing.

For me I might aswell not even bother with these quests as I will NEVER complete them, and only get massively demoralised and frustrated trying to. Both of them are basically asking you to play a game mode I hate. Had I known I would have not even bothered.

I mean just wait till momentum or mayhem are back in crucible and spam gl kills there and tbh unless a clan is being ♥♥♥♥♥ and stacking in crucible it is generally chill so go in get your quest done and if you cant just dip and find another game

I assume that first one is for Witherhoard, but if you have the season pass, it has a catalyst quest multiplier that triples progress, so only 34 grenade kills if you have it. Otherwise, yeah, it is an entire gamemode that has been there since the beginning. Just like strikes have several quests, so does crucible.

yep just wait for momentum control. Its the easiest place to grind kills as health bars are much lower and thus ttk is lower.

Utterly impossible? Are you serious? It took me less than 10 matches lol. You realize the launcher exo isn't a power weapon, right? You start with 2 ammo every time you spawn.

I personally hate pvp entirely, i think all the content should utilize ALL aspects of the game, not just specific ones...it ruins the game when it does.

yeah m not sure why they tie so much to pvp, personally got sick of it and stopped supporting them, if they can live on the pvp base more power to them but i feel like they would get more paying customers if they stopped forcing crucible down our throats

I dont mind the odd aspect being linked to other game formats, but 100 bloody kills with grnade launchers, I am lucky to get the odd one in one game, it would take me months, and being an anti PVP man in this game, am i really going to sit there for hours on end being kileld relentlessly just to try and get the odd grenade launcher kill every few games?

Momentum Control has increased damage, so I figure it'll be a lot easier to secure kills with Witherhoard.

It's a 100% guaranteed kill with direct hits even if you have a super on while standing in a rift and the blight kills in 2 seconds, the ♥♥♥♥ do you need more damage for?

Not everybody is sniper-360 God with grenade launchers, so increased AoE damage mostly.
