Hive Wizards and Broodmothers are exclusively female.
although yes indeed, there are females among them, they just wont look with female attributes like hoomans, tho really would be good to see them as main characters, bosses, etc. not only hive or taken.
Mara Sovs 3 Techeuns are the only known playable race characters to get Taken.
didnt really knew they where different, i just got stuck on a mission "reprise" for the drifter, which is awwwfully long and exausting... [which makes me just want to do strikes and read lore things outside of the game]
aaah never knew that cabal gals had tusks, thats new info for me as well
now that i remember, some like, "the trickster" and other captain from the fallen / scorn "forsaken" campaign are female, and "talk" femenine enough
The three Flayers from Season of Dawn certainly were.
"The three oldest sisters—Ozletc, Tazaroc, and Niruul—gathered around Amtec, the youngest. They spoke in harmonizing tones, each voice the pluck of a different string on the same instrument. " Bungie.net Weblore, 'Joining'.
(Amtec is almost certainly the psion who set The Almighty on its collision course with the Last City)
Another female Flayer - Voyc, Shadow of the Wilds, was the owner of Leviathan's Breath.
Sticking with the Cabal, Vrag, Sister of Tluam, and Tluam, Sister of Varg are unsurprisingly female. Cabal ladies are just as hulking and sturdy as the males so yeah it's hard to notice unless it gets called out like that. They probably think we all look the same too!
Hive already got a mention with Broodmothers, 'Wizards', etc. But it might interest you to know that the Taken King, Oryx was once female and named Aurash. That was before they became the Hive that we know now, before their pact with the worm gods.
Lastly another notable mention would be Riven.
I see what you did there 👍🏻
