Sunbracers for addclear on anything that isnt high nightfalls.
One exotic badly overlooked is Eye of Another World. I use it whenever i am not using a specific build. Felwinter's Helm is also quite good and synergizing pretty well with the Warmind mods.
It's obviously not as good as when it could instareload but it is still one of the best exotics for raids. Izanagi got nerfed, yes, but a lot of people now use mountaintop+anarchy / xeno and it helps a lot

I don't have any DLC so I haven't tried any of the ones locked behind them.
Sunbracers doesnt need monte carlo if youre running top tree dawnblade. Aerial kills with that tree equiped will give you back your melee energy in only 2 or 3 kills.
