Was going to get 21% delirium.
I was even at legend on my gambit infamy. Then they decide to sunset all pinnacle weapons and I decided to not finish it b/c whats the point. So all Pinnacle guns are no longer going to be viable for late game content. And what do we get instead. Probably one ritual weapon this fall.

Instead of jumping to conclusions how about you play your game untill they add sunsetting then find out what and how they implent this sunsetting. You can think about it and have all kinds of bad stuff happening in those toughts but you can not be sure about anything untill they in fact add it. Cant judge something without having some experience imo

Does it matter? 21% delirium is a very solid gun and with sunsetting and it suppoused lifespen you still can use it for a YEAR...and who knows what will happen by then.

you know that you would be eventually still left with that quest and there's nothing else to do? And as I know you need it to get the title for gambit (or gambit prime, tho I can be wrong).

As much as I don't like the premise of sunsetting... it only affects end-game content. Don't overlook a good weapon just because in a year's time you might not be able to bring it into the next Grandmaster Nightfall.

true though. Pretty much every playlist won't feel as suffering unless you're playing trials, nightfalls or iron banner. Have no idea about second, but first is already crap and killed by cheaters. Third is just bad overall. The idea is good, but they should've made it at least more or less skillbased, instead of copypasting control mode with one new element. Instead of giving 5 for the win and 3 for the loss, give 3 (5, 7) for the win and none for the loss, so the players would actually try to win it instead of afking without any desire to even play it.
Trying to meet everyone's desire leads to no desire from both parties.

Bungie cant make anymore better weapon or "stands out" than Old weapon so they decided sunset it,power creep just another nice excuse.

Even with sunsetting weapons happening, it will still be viable in all the content up to this point and in PVP.

nerf imbalanced ones instead of making more and more imbalanced one greater than the other forcing players to just switch "meta" guns. Making players to roll for new guns instead of using old forgotten ones is fun. Some guns are even banned from most activities, because they suck. Buff them? nah, we'd better make some new guns that wouldn't change the fact that some types suck so hard no one would ever pick them in both PVE and PVP

Wrong, delirium and the other pinnacle weapons have a 3 months lifetime (next season) after that you will be no longer use for high power activities because no more infuse possible

This is a very good response, too bad OP doesn't care and is just a troll who pops out of a hole from the rock they live under to make a bunch of threads designed to start flame wars.

Pot meet kettle.

At least OP stands against sun setting not kissing Bungie's toes and agree with losing efforts and time on grindy weapon.
Blackbelt Jun 1, 2020 @ 8:46am
if you have nearly completed the quest why waste the effort you may as well finish it

Pfft, grow up. "I don't like this and you do so you're a boot kisser" do you also cry when a phone or car company makes the product you got from them outdated? How about the bread or milk you bought expiring?

Thanks for proving my earlier point.
