How worth it is buying exotic engrams of xur?

it it worth it sinc it does cost a bit of legendary shards to buy and the first time i bought it i got a pair of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pants

I would say if your drowning in shards a buy or 2 might help. But only if your relative new and have barely any exotic period. I dont even have 35% of the exotics and tryt to buy 2 times and sadly both times gave me something i already had in the collections.

Honestly if you want decent stat rolls on class specific armor and are looking for a specific piece.... Xur is a good option.

if you dont have a problem with legendary shard just buy it , hopefully if you're lucky you get something decent .

Xur's Engram will provide a random rolled exotic armor piece or an exotic weapon until all random drop exotics are in your collections, at which point the engram will give a random rolled piece of exotic armor.

i don't have that many legendary shards i do have enough to buy the other things from him but it costs 93 shards to get the engram i bought the gun he has today

Before you buy engram always check what he is selling.I completed my exotic collection from Xur

If you want to complete your collection of exotics it is a good idea, but random drops in game will usually have better stats.
