Acquire Whisper of the Worm is hard

Hey there,

my friend and I were doing the whisper of the worm. He already did it with another character so he guided me through the jump 'n run part. We're both lvl 1000.
The hard part was the enemys especially the boss encounter. He did mention that he did this quest earlier and it was a alot easier - we didn't kill the boss in time.

I do have the Jaderabbit equipped and it takes me a whole mag to headshot a simple fallen (yellow bar) and 4 shots to eeven kill a mob.
This is extremly hard, I can't imagine to do this on a lower level. Earlier guides suggest Lvl600.

Am I doing sth wrong? Has there been a change? is this heroic without me noticing? Why did my freind report the fight was more or less one shot, one kill ?

They "fixed" it, but people say mobs there used to be super weak intentionally.
Prior to that "fix" you could cut like knife trough butter in the Normal Mission, but now Normal is the same (if not almost) as Heroic. I maybe wrong that, but I am pretty sure I will be correct pretty soon (by clled dumbass, idiot etc.)

Your friend did it when it was bugged and enemies too like 400% more damage than usual. This bug is now fixed. I suggest finding a third person to help you complete the encounter. Level 1000 should be good but the problem is rooms are cramped and there are few safe areas so that's why it seems hard.

Try using Polaris Lance as DPS weapon, + Sniper + Grenade Launcher with Full court and Spike nades. Back in the days Polaris Lance was go to weapon for last boss encounter, usually 1 person would roam in boss room and kill all blights and adds while 2 would dps boses. Focus 1 boss at a time to

The fact that you're using jade rabbit on that whisper mission is where you're kind of doing it wrong.. It just doesn't pack that much of a punch compared to a legendary sniper which you want to use in there.. Best way to get trough first and second room is by using a tractor cannon with a ad clearing super, than switch over to snipers for the final room.. You can use a roaming super for ads in final room and to pickup ammo.

Room 1 = Ad clearing power and items.
Room 2 = Ad clearing power and items.
Room 3 = DPS boss + ad clearing power.

Problem with merciless is the damage gets lower when the firerate increases
