had to change cards cuz i dont want to use it tilll i know if it can be fixed if not save for a new card
To me it sounds like Destiny isn't the problem. What other games have you run on the 580? I had an RX 580 that was overheating on GPU intensive games. Racing sims typically are gpu heavy but can also be cpu heavy instead.
If possible, paste MSI after burner numbers for the faulty card. Keep an eye on the gpu temps. Then run Afterburner while doing the heaven benchmark.
That will depict if your card is faulty as that benchmark is solely gpu heavy.
fix the problem with your system not being able to take the added heat from both the processor and the graphics card..
You mention VR btw... but then you have the default VR stuff to deal with. project cars 2 aint GPU heavy at all.
Yeah, no, Destiny 2 runs fine on my laptop with a RX 560m XD
My CPU is water cooled...
must be this card .so as a test i put this card in my PC>>> ""nvidia geforce gtx 1050 ti""
not had any overheating now with a 6 hour test ...
but now i cant use VR cuz the cards just to ♥♥♥♥ for it....
thank u to all thats replyed.."helpfull some" if you woild like to give me what GC i should get
i need a card thats goona run D2 an be fine in VR ..
cuz when i want to race in >>ACC..AC..i have to change my GC lol..
an PS i cleaned my tower the only place there was any real mess was frount fans they was so bad lol..now looks new...
It really sounds like one of the following.
The GPU cooler is dirty so unable to get proper air flow.
The fan/s is/are defective
You are overly sensitive to fan noise and keep the fan/s too low to perform properly.
Racing games are light duty for GPUs as are some VR games.
But honestly if you want my recommen at least a 5700xt or gtx 2070 super
+ doesnt the 580 forcecap your fps at 45 anyway?
Nothing to do with the heat issue.
