This is why Hunters in GG can't win.
Someone did the math and proved that bungie screwed up.

Titans are only winning because they are the least played class, the math proves it.

Why would they divide 70k players evenly across all three classes, when the classes don't have an equal population? Everything after that "23,333" figure is wrong thanks to that one simple mistake.

They're losing because they're not playing.
If they were playing, they would win. Like they did on the first day.
Not sure how they expect to still compete with -10% average activity.
10% for the Hunter population is also a larger value than 10% of the Titan population. Because percentages are referential. So there are less actual additional Titans playing than there are Hunters who stopped.

But it's got to be a conspiracy, eh?

*sigh* you should prob read the whole thing before you post as that was just an example of how it works, I mean the person even states in the picture "Meaning it should work something like this, I believe" next to the example results.

But anyway based on whats in the picture the main point is that it's saying due to the company using the activity player count participation numbers from the 30 DAYS prior to the event and due to the decline in the population count since that date (which is now at a -19% growth at the time of this post based on Steam Charts.) This means that Hunters and Warlocks can't win due to them essentially battling against the players that left after March 2020 and also due to Titans low population count they are barely effected by this and will succeed simply because of the fact they are the least played class.

The picture even states how it can be a fair event in it and that's this:
All they need to do to make the GGames event fair is go by simply medals deposited. They do not need to count participation nor player numbers as that only gives Titans the advantage which clearly is working too well for them

And then it goes on about how impossible it is to win due to how many days are left at the time of the post and etc. Either way the point of the OP still stands. The whole "fair" system is bugged.

tl;dr you think the other classes are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ b/c of the 30days before enrollment and cant fathom that titans also left in that time.

I think his argument is based on the population totals. Since a greater percent of the population is hunters, its logical to assume that more hunters left than titans or warlocks. Sure, theres no doubt that there are people who left who played the other classes, but when you need more raw hunter numbers to offset Bungie's set medal weights its kind of a bigger deal. And Based on Bungie's graphs that actually showed an increase in titan numbers and a drop in hunter numbers, its an even bigger issue since it means that the hunters who do remain have to pick up the slack for those who left since that 30 day time stamp and those who left since the event started.

Honestly I dont care who wins as long as its not hunters. WHy ? because there are way to many hunters they are annoying to go up against in pvp. Good on the titans for winning this event. I'm a warlock main I can live with being second. Bout time the hunters get put in there place. Complain about it all you want but the results are showing. You guys may be the most numerous but you are definetly not the best class.

And ... then there's the actual bounties themselves:

Hunter Bounty: While balancing on your left hand, at exactly maximum range, throw a knife and hit the pupil of your target's right eye. Do that 25 times.

Titan Bounty: Punch some dudes!!

Hunter Bounty: While in mid air, at exactly maximum range, throw a smoke bomb and disorient your target, then move directly to the target and stab them. Your feet cannot touch the ground at any point during this endeavor. Do that 25 times.

Titan Bounty: Throw some grenades!!

I mean close nuff
and dont forget the hunter one that you have to tether 50 enemies at once and then 360 no scope them all while mid air that only works once in a blue moon :blissful_creep:

Why would you say that "the math proves it" if the math is just an inaccurate example which should be ignored, then?

Warlocks are the least played class.
Also, our class activity has been pretty stable this entire event. We're not "battling against players that left". Proportions are more important than raw numbers in this event.

No. If you only count medal sums, then the class with the highest population wins.
Measuring based on proportional activity gave each class equal opportunity.

Hunters put themselves in that situation by quitting en masse.
Sucks.
Perhaps blame the Hunters that quit. Or the ones that remain, and are now pushing conspiracy theories and reinforcing their nonexistent helplessness by posting bad statistics from Reddit.

ITT: More angry hunter mains trying to theory craft how they're losing guardian games instead of playing the event.
