Pinnacle & endgame for solo players?
My boots are 999, and I've got 1000 for every other slot.

As I'm waiting to find myself 1000 boots (I guess next week, if I'm not too unlucky), I got to wondering: what now?

I'll do some bounties, seasonal events, work on some of those exotic quests or things in playlists.

That's just filler, though.

I've got some adventures I probably haven't done, but other than that, it seems like pretty much the end of content for me this season.

I tried Pit of Heresy solo, and I realized that's not for me.

Are there any sources of pinnacle gear for a solo player? From what I can gather, there don't seem to be.

And yeah, I know "I don't need it". That's fine. Just looking for something to do that's somewhat interesting.

What's endgame supposed to look like for solo players?

I have zero interest in Gambit or Crucible, for whatever that's worth

Also worth noting that I have all DLC and I've finished all the campaign missions.

Thanks.

PoH and some Nightfalls: the ordeal.

Dungeon (Pit of Hereesy) is the only solo-able thing besides 100K NF if you're up to that. I do recommend finding a group that does fast Raids to get gear and then dip into singleplayer.

If you have the season pass rank 7 of the bunkers awards pinnacle gear, but only once. If you used the first two for leveling to 1000 then there is the Io bunker left next week, so wait till you are 1000 in all slots before claiming.

Other then that not many other options for solo players.

I was afraid of that. Thanks.

I tried Pit of Heresy today, and legendary Nightfall, actually, and I noped out of both pretty quickly.

I assume the dungeon in the Dreaming City (Shattered Throne, I think? I forget) is comparable to PoH?

Not interested in groups, which is why I was asking about solo content.

I've heard bungo's put a lot of work into raids, which makes me curious about them, but they're far too involved for me to bother with, unfortunately.

Yeah, I realized that too late, unfortunately. I did use up the pinnacle from the bunkers before hitting a high enough level for it to matter.

Later in the season some easier weekly challenges (strike, crucible, gambit) will award pinnacle gear.
But you do not really need pinnacle gear if you are playing solo. It is needed for very difficult activities, which require more players anyway.

Just play the game. Do weekly bounties for bright dust. Find out what weapons you want to get and play those activities. For example I finally got the curated roll for Hammerhead after 6 months of doing black armory.
The Menagerie has some nice weapons for everyday use.

There is a lot of stuff to do, you just have to know what you want to get. But season 10 content is crap unfortunately.

And you can always start a new character if you are bored.

Looked that up; didn't know that was a thing. Thanks for the info.

I keep meaning to check that out, but forget. Thanks for the reminder.

Well, not quite bored... I've got quite a backlog to fall back on, but trying out other classes isn't a bad idea, if I'm left with an unscratched D2 itch.

I guess I'm more wondering if I've hit a personal wall, and it seems like I might have.

Well, maybe not wall, but I feel like I've "caught up", to a degree.

Which is not necessarily a bad, thing, to be fair. I'll be able to play more casually now, and I can stop doing Gambit & Crucible, which I've been doing for the weekly Powerful rewards.
I can run you through pit of heresy, I have multiple solo clears. Don't have to talk to me lol just be there for the gear.

I appreciate the offer, though it's less about the gear as it is me trying to figure out what I could/should do solo next.

I'll keep it in mind if I decide I want to check out the pit, though, thanks. :)

Without a premade fireteam your only bet is Iron Banner.

With a premade fireteam you can do Pit of Heresy fairly easily, and you can easily find a fireteam in the "Destiny 2 PC LFG" discord (google for exactly that phrase).

With a skilled fireteam at about 1010 light (including the artifact) you should be able to basically squeak past the Nightmare hunt.

I have no idea what it takes to survive the 1030 Nightfall.

The Garden of Salvation requires a decent team this season, the final boss can be painful.

Best advice, join the destiny 2 discord, hop into groups for nightfalls/ POH/ garden, its super easy to get into groups and get your high end gear.

I apologize if there was some confusion: it's not that I don't know how to find people to play with, it's that I don't want to play in a group (or have anything to do with discord, incidentally).

I appreciate the suggestions, though. They indirectly answer my question, I guess.
