this happens to me if i try to complte the make bow not war quest and collect the bow.
in the room with the paltforms if i go there it shuts down the computer.
bungie help said they know about it and i should avoid the reddish light.
but you cannot avoid the light in the environment and there has been no fix since last year.
Today when I went to tech's store, no issue showed up there. I have even alt+tab while running D2 to see if the problem would show again...nothing happened. Well I still haven't* touched the game tonight and I won't untill tomorrow's patch and hope for the best to solve this weird mess Bungie made by launching this new seasonal content.
And because I was playing for several days since March 12 vanguard strikes, crucible rounds for hours without interruption, maybe there were few error codes but not were not being repeatedly or being persisted, there were no freezing or restarting issues.
Go to Search bar and type RegEdit
Right Click Registry Editor and select Run as Administrator
Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
Then Right Click on the open space on the right side of the Registry Editor and select New DWORD (32-Bit) Value
Type TdrLevel and then Double Click on TdrLevel
Set Value data as 0 with Base as Hexadecimal
Then Restart your PC
Hard restart = almost always a hardware problem, software problems cause an actual BSOD.
