Essence of Pride

I am new to the game,but i have done all the quests to get the armour for Shadowkeep,except for the head piece and i cant find a quest for this,i have read that you need to kill essences all over except the moon,well i have been doing this for days and dont seem to be getting anyware,so any help will be appreciated.

So...you tried to fulfill the requirements of a quest you don't have? Quite obvious why that doesn't work. Simply doing the moon questline should grant you access to any and all armor pieces.

Thank you for that,but like i said i have all the armour but the head piece and cant find the quest Essence of Pride,thats where i'm stuck

That's strange. It's been a while since I did the quests but if I remember correctly you should get one complete set of armor by just doing the questline.
Did you unlock the lectern of enchantment? No quest there, nothing else from Eris?

Yes i have unlocked the lectern,like i said i have all the other pieces of armour just not the head piece,but i need the essence of pride quest to even start it,are all the essence quests on a rotation and how long as i have been waiting allmost a week now .

having the very same problem here... anyone knows how to get the essence of pride (which should later on be cleansed?!)

SOLVED... you have to fight your way through 3 missions and 3 bosses, each one will give you an essence which later on you will have to cleanse. thing is, the waypoint for the 3rd mission was very close to the seraph tower mission waypoint, so I did not realize it was 2 different missions. On a hunch, I went to the location and realized there were 2 "mission starters" very close to each other. I selected the "nightmare hunt - pride", and after I defeated the boss I got the essence. Goodness me, why did they place the seraph tower just there :) !

So I was trying to discard another quest and accidentally got rid of essence of pride and now the lectern of enchantment says that I can only have one at a time even though I don't have the quest... If somebody has a way to get the quest back it would be much appreciated

As this topic is outdated and several mechanics have changes, I will lock this topic.

You will be able to obtain discarded quests from the Quest Kiosk, located next to the Postmaster at the Tower. If you continue to experience issues, please make a new thread.

Never mind I found it just needed to go to quest terminal
