Actually though, there is so much voice work in that strike and it's almost all hilariously terrible.
Her ghost probably welcomed the sweet embrace of death after rezzing her from so many stupid things.

This is supported by multiple things: Savathun is a cunning hive god, probably the cleverest villain we've come across in this universe, and she's tried to trick us again and again. The guardians are talking as if they're fighting off hive right in front of us, just away from view, but when we advance, there are no bodies of guardians, ghosts or hive, and the hive are all patiently waiting in ambush. And of course, the name of the strike: Savathun's Song, reminiscent of a Siren's song, that lures unsuspecting sailors to their graves.
