Do people not know what a ward of dawn does?

Every time I pop it in pvp, everyone just runs straight in like they fear nothing.

If the other team are idiots then anything is effective.

Even then, it lets you secure power ammo, gives you an overshield, and gives you a weapon buff. People who try to kill you with their super will fail unless it is a burning maul (unless you cancel it), nova, or blades. Instant win in overtime as well if the enemy team doesnt have the above supers ready

It's also the best spot in the world to shoot a well-placed grenade/rocket and get a fat juicy multi-kill from all the morons huddled inside the white glowing ring.

Except they will survive that and immediately kill that person? Not to mention if they use a rocket, they kill themselves. The people inside will still have overshield to spare as well. What do you have against ward?

Have you ever tested it before? Even a direct hit from a rocket wont kill the person inside. I think only a legend of acrius or a thousand voices will kill them (not counting supers). With thousand voices, they will most likely kill themselves, and with acrius, they will most likely miss if the ward user has helm of saint-14 on as you have to meatshot with it

I have obviously tested it and you obviously havent. The overshield in a ward of dawn is extremely powerful, even negating precision hits. There are very few weapons that can kill somebody while they are inside a ward before the ward user either punches them to death or shotguns them. If they are somehow wittled down, they can just step out and back in and they have their super overshield back. Why are you so opposed to ward?

I told you why in my first post. If you're going to drop rifts in pvp then use a pvp rift like Arc bro.

This post has nothing to do with rifts. And the ward of dawn "making you a huge target" is partially the point of it, its a highly defensive ability after all. Nobody can challenge you while its up unless they have something that can one shot you, and there is not a lot that can one shot you while in a ward

Honestly, anyone that gets overly aggro about a 'stationary' target deserve getting dropped and put into respawn. Especially because the ward is a healing and empowering rift all in one whose main weakness is the fact that it can negated by destroying the dawnblade sword.

I don't think everyone is talking about the same thing? Ward of Dawn is the Titan bubble. People are mentioning a sword and white rings, which is Well of Radiance. So...

The only people I've seen that respect Bubbles are other Titans, since they know the true strength of it. Otherwise, people will rush in, hope for the kill, and get destroyed. OR they run in with a shutdown super, Blade Barrage, either Nova Bomb. They can challenge you with funnily enough Well of Radiance, or another bubble.
