Why yes, I do have a 4:3 monitor, which I'm using as we speak.
You would have to go into compatibility mode, which will permit you to alter the resolution for "Safe Mode" launches.

This is very strange, I agree. I wonder if we can get Bungie to restore the correct 4:3 scaling from said earlier versions.Otherwise, this will have to do. I'll set up a custom res in Nvidia Control Panel and give it a go.
If I may, it's not a mysterious reason.
If you were to look at the requirements to run this game, (Decently) it would require alot more modern graphics cards.
There by, removing an option for 3:4 resolution, also removes the need to test this resolution properly.
If the number of people playing this are almost all 16:9, then why bother?
That is likely the mentality.

The worst part for me is that 1280x800 doesnt work, it always forces 60hz everytime I pick that resolution and it's the only game that ever gives me that problem
