longer distance jumps

I am trying to figure out how to jet across larger gaps,. was playing on mercury when I found i was not able to go across a big distance, need a loadout?

I don't recall but I think my avatar is a hunter, so I need that loadout then

High mobility stat and Stompees are the way to go for hunter.

i changed my loadouts and it seems to have improved my play, thanks

You can also use your Sparrow like Yoshi in some situations to get a little extra distance.

If you are a hunter, you can double jump. If you have the right perk enabled in your subclass tree you can triple jump.

mercury is hard to leap at the end

if was a strikes,your ghost say he moded your sparrow and you can just leap with your sparrow.

How wide was the chasm. There shouldn't be any chasms to leap across on Mercury, so you were probably trying to get somewhere you can't go. A lot of stuff shows up on Mercury's world map, but the playable area is only the middle island. The other two smaller islands on either side of it can only be accessed during public events.
