Quest After lighting the beacon?

After being thrown into orbit i get a notification new quest step available, but where? or is it just another quest popping up for no reason? Is there a follow up quest or have I been dumped into orbit just for the cutscene and triumph?

i didnt find anything else after that, kinda a sad excuse for a questline :(

I got it too and it was blue. Either a glitch, which is likely, or there's a hidden quest step that got enabled when viewing the Lighthouse cutscene.

It's in the tower obelisk, it triggers a cutscene of you lighting the beacon and gives you the final triumph for savior seal.

this is what i meant, a blue Quest step popup, but no quest. and overall the disappointment of the only reward being an arguably lazy cutscene

I'm talking about the quest from empyrean foundation that was teased some time ago, we were supposed to get a actual quest.. When i check your screenshot, that's the one you get from xur which hasn't got anything to do with the empyrean foundation at the tower obelisk.

yep easy mistake to do, same reason its so confusing because the quest system is so cluttered as well. it does feel a lot like a sacked mission and a mission trigger forgotten about

and the reward for 9,777,777,000 is absolutely nothing A WARM HANDSHAKE YOUR WELCOME

and a shoutout to games journalism asking why the number isn't 9,777,777,777 instead when we hand in fractalline in increments of 100 is just peak stupidity
