I know, this is also subjective, but I'm curious what others prefer, and what quests are substantiel. - Thanks in advance.

Note that "best" is different for PvE and PvP, and so are the God rolls.

Also, your ability to land hand cannon headshots is a major factor that depends on your computer and personal reactions.

For example, a magnificent PvP hand cannon like the Spare Rations might be a total lemon if you can't aim accurately and fast, while a gun usually considered lame in PvP such as the Eriana's Vow (yes, I know that one is an exotic) might prove to be the ideal gun under those conditions.

Morale:

Use the advice you get in this thread as a guideline but ***do your own testing*** of all of the guns mentioned.

Depends what you're looking for.

Spare rations and jack queen king are pretty good all rounders.
Austringer has nasty range.
Kindled orchid can roll kill clip/rampage for dirty 2-tap potential.

This exactly. I have a couple really cool and well rolled Handcannons: An Old Fashioned with FFrenzy and Kill Clip, a Service Revolver with High Caliber Rounds AND Rapid Hit AND Kill Clip AND a stability masterwork, and Better Devils with Outlaw and Kill Clip and a stability masterwork. These guns, frankly, are flex material in PvE and PvP. But guess what? Their shot rhythm is way off for me. These guns have the perks and stats to carry me and I'm still way better with 150s. So make sure to use your weapons and do some personal testing.

From what I keep seeing and reading, Spare Rations is the best legendary Hand Cannon.

Statistically speaking, it has the highest aim assist in the game unless I missed something, it can roll with pretty much every pve and pvp "godroll" So, that.

I have used them all, have an ok aim and good with recoil but for some reason had most success with trust but there has been plenty of duels against Spare ration wich was lost but some won too.

It's not especially for me. I got Hand Cannons like Trust, or The Last Word. I'm just curious if I miss anything. Apart from that, I work on Rose right now.

Trust, with Lucky Pants is my favourite so far.

All hand cannons are capped at 28m, unless you've got Max range with range finder. Then you'll be able to push that to 30m but that's it. Range doesn't mean much for hand cannons anymore.

Demolitionist can drop pretty frequently now, so that's a new factor... especially Contraverse Hold Warlock etc. Old Fashioned, Jack Queen King, that one from the last season. It's something to consider if you need a Demolitionist gun.

Jack Queen King also has a high aim assist, and it's a lot easier to farm than Spare Rations, provided you like using the Energy slot for the Hand Cannon.
