Well, except for the jumping portion if you are jumping handicapped like me :) But people usually carry you through that section.
Of course, you should read a good guide before trying it, and look for a "Sherpa" run in the Destiny 2 PC LFG so that there will be someone teaching you.
Even the entrance room before the first encounter is impossible with 1 player, lmao. It's a 6 player raid...
Next time It took us 2:30
Jeez, 7 hours is a big yikes. I think my first run was about 4 hours when none of us knew what we were doing. It's usually about 45 minutes with an experienced team.
Oh, I knew it was a dumb idea before I even went into orbit; I really just wanted to see how far I could get by myself...plus I wanted to get that Pursuit out of my log. >_>
It isn't tedious unless your group are particularly bad IMO. As long as it feels like you're making progress towards beating an encounter and not just bashing your head against it repeatedly, it's fine. It's only painful when you manage to pick up "that guy" who refuses to listen and makes the same mistakes over and over and over again, causing your team to fail.
I'd recommend looking for an experienced sherpa to guide you through your first run, to give yourself a better chance of having a good time.
As for the loot, it really depends on your current loot situation. If you don't have much in the way of amazing weapons, then you'll find that there's some pretty good loot in the Leviathan raid. There are better options in most cases now, but they mostly depend on RNG to get good perks on, which the Leviathan weapons don't as they drop with the same perks every time.
Midnight coup is a great little hand cannon. It's 150 RPM with outlaw/rampage. Spare rations and jack queen king are basically the same thing, but a little better. Those require pretty heavy RNG to get good perk rolls on though...
Inaugural address is a decent void pulse rifle with outlaw/kill clip. I still use it every once in a while.
Raid armour in general tends to drop with pretty high stat numbers too.
At least you got through it, I guess.
