Grenade Balance out of wack?
I have one thing to say. Hand Held Super Nova. Nuff said. The hunter has crap nades. The Solar Grenades for the Warlock Crap. Even if you stick someone that still won't kill you. But I just had HHSN kill 2 in one shot. Garbage!

it's genuinely insane mixed with contraverse hold and 100 discipline i've seen someone get a lights out (4 man) with just one hand held

Remember that warlocks also have the worst melee :) it's not balanced but there are worse things in crucible, since you can avoid HHSN, but you can't avoid a 50+ meter 0.3 charge erentil nearly as easily

I find hunters grenades (atleast the gunslinger ones) are not horrible, you can shoot your own trip mine in the air to pick off people behind cover and i've used the swarm nade to good effect as an alarm when im hardscoping, and a couple times i've seen people agro the swarm then run away into their teammates getting all of them hurt and i swear one of them died because of that.

For warlock? yeah HHSN is strong but then again what else do they have? a team support rift for either fast healing or high damage, a healing grenade, and a wonky jump that takes a lot of getting used to, and a melee which can one tap you if you are near a wall and correct me if im wrong but that melee is also in the same tree with HHSN.

You're all complaining about grenade balance but last season, titan sentinel magnet grenades had disruption and once attached to someone would kill them outright and if anyone else was around, they would cause a chain reaction, I literally wiped out teams on control points because you can throw these bad boys and laugh as they stick to someone you didnt even throw at.

Warlock has HHSN but the other 2 classes have OHK melee abilities.

If I see someone using HHSM, it's to late... they usually camp bottlenecks like a typical shotgun user.

That is a valid point. I am afraid that Bungie will do what it always does and Nerf it. That is not what I am saying. It is a grenade! Aren't grenades supposed to be Lethal? I thank all grenades should be feared. It is more a melee ability than a Grenade anyway. HHSN takes no skill. You get close it is over for the other player/s. At least Magnetic grenade you have to throw it and hit someone from a distance. That at least takes some skill and if you stick it well damn! Nice throw. I can accept that, but to get blown apart hit after hit in a Crucible match. I love the Warlock class I almost always play that class. I just want there to be more than one choice so that other sub-classes can be viable.

Also when I say out of balance I mean. When you are playing and the only players you see are using the same sub-class that is a balance issue. How often do you see a swarm grenade used? Or even magnetic grenades anymore. Same thing when they"Re-Balance" guns. Everyone is now using that type of gun. Those are balance issues.

nah,each class has their own Lethal tricks,warlock grenade is not lethal,it just charge up some magic inside.

its controverse hold, not HHSN. Its highly unlikely you will survive an encounter enough to kill them.

You can hear them charging up, and when you hear that, back up 20 feet, and wait for them to waste it. there are also counters to it, the titan wall, and suppression grenades. the grenade will render them completely useless for a good minute.

I can tell you now, bungie is going to nerf the holds damage reduction but I feel like they're going to mess this up and end up nerfing HHSN.
