Do Twitch Prime exotics scale back to your level?

So I've been burned before, with Borderlands 2 activating some ultra-rare gun on my account without asking (used some external promotion) and scaling it to my char's level, effectively robbing me of a great end-game gun in the long run.

So, if I activate Twitch's exotics now being relatively new player in D2 - will the same happen? Or those exotics have fixed stats and I won't get screwed?

It's scaled, but infusion being a thing means that when you get to high level, you can always infuse some high level garbage gun into it to bring it up.

Thanks. Thinking about it, but then will it scale immediately after I activate it or when I actually redeem it in-game? Cause that Prime thingy is limited and I'll most likely forget about it in a month x)

I think immediatly.
Still, no risk in picking it up now regardless of which level you are, as you can always bring it up through infusion to your current one
