Is claws of the wolf one of the strongest PvP pulses?

In comparison to blast furnace, even from a distance with MW range, it seems to win. My Blast furnace is high impact+MW range with range modifying mods to almost cap the range, but that is still only around 28 to the 30 to the head with a 4 round burst. The Claws of the wolf I got which is MW stability, but around halfish range? Does 24 to the head with the drop off going to 18 from a distance, but due to the fire rate? It's TTK is insane...

It rolled with kill clip/snapshot (I'd of prefered outclaw to support the kill clip.) but once kill clip is going it is 32 a shot, kind of nutty.

Is outlast/chattering bones better?

a roll I have on my claws of the wolf is full-auto perk which makes it hella easy to rack some kills. it's a pretty damn good weapon even without auto fire

Yeah, I enjoyed using it, if you can burst headshots then you'll body people left right and center, I'm just not a pulse rifle kind of guy.
