Memory of Cayde items.
I already know that it used to be quest reward but now it is random drop, but nobody was able to tell me where it drops or from which activity. Since I've played 100+hrs after finishing the DLC and still did not get it I don't think it can drop in any location or activity. I've been told that Tangled Shore would be a good location and in last 2 days I've spend 7+ hrs farming there and still could not get it. Does anyone have any info if it even drops when you don't have it in collection ?

Could you tell me from which chests? Strike chests, region chests, world chests ?

You can get the old campaign rewards as open world drops, including vendor rewards. I got my most recent Memory of Cayde mark from Hawthorne's weekly challenge.

By random chests, i mean the world ones. Not the yellow ones.

Is there a higher chance for the class item from heroic adventures on tangled shore ? Since killing the baron already drops 2 pieces of armor from that set

I don't understand what you mean. They started to drop from those chests when I get the quest asking to find caid's chests.
