Nightfall Ordeal 950 Inverted Spire question.

Hey guardians,

I was trying to solo this a while ago and Protheon (Boss) summoned a Champion while on the 2nd level. I ended up damaging Protheon that he went to 3rd phase and the Champion disappeared. Then I got Gold on Champions after I killed Protheon.

Does he always summon that Champion? Or do I have to damage him quickly during 2nd phase as to not let him summon it.

Cause I'm pretty sure I killed all the Champions from watching youtube videos.

He doesnt thats a random glitch as Ive farmed 980s and 950s and never had a champ there. Thats pretty crazy

That's what I thought too, which is why I've searched for information online. Though to no avail. Thus I ended up here. Thanks a lot though. Might try again later and see if it happens again.

Happened to me once, too last time that was the nightfall awhile back.

Yap seen it happen once on 980 , if we take too long on phase 2 he spawns adds.

So it DOES happen? So you have to kill that to get Platinum right?

Just to be sure, can you specify where and how many are the Champions on this week's NFO?

I played it solo like thrice now and still only get Gold.
