Unable to fire or ADS weapon.

Hi,

just in the last few days I have run in to something i've never seen before.

my left mouse button will no longer fire the weapon,

My right mouse button will no longer ADS.

its like those 2 buttons have stopped working.

Destiny 2 is the only game this is happening on.

To test I even plugged in an xbox 1 controller and the fire and ADS doesnt work there either.

I've looked at my settings. and reset everything to default and the problem continues............

Any ideas?

Verify your game cache, if that doesn't work try unplugging your mouse and replugging it back in whilst in D2. I also recommend you report this to Bungie Support Here [www.bungie.net]

Dying fixed it for me the time I go that bug.
Maybe restart your game?

Had the same problem before steam move just walk/jump about until it fixes itself. If its happening too often add some keybinds for ads/shooting until the mouse gets back.

Yup. that seems to be it. its fixed itself. perhaps I miss understood what was going on. could be a feature instead of a bug...

Idk if this is the same bug, but I cant even move the mouse ingame. in menuse I can move it, but not click.

Were you in Sanctuary on the Moon? You can't aim or shoot there.

that's the problem I was having. Happened in a strike, just had to melee everything until it ended, then I couldn't click the director open so I had to restart

I'm having this same issue, with Xbox controller and keyboard/mouse. Can't get it to work no matter what. I can also use triggers or click and it works for EVERYTHING in the game EXCEPT ADS and firing the weapon (the two most important things of course). I've tried so many things with re-installing game, using big picture and different controller configs but NOTHING works.

*Update* tried what some people suggested...have been having this issue for a LONG time where I haven't been able to even play Destiny at all - just tried going to a different planet and BOOM I can now ADS and fire with my controller - thanks all!
