Credit for Strikes ?

I'm simply Not getting them for various bounty/challenge requirements.

I know that not getting credit for Strikes has been covered extensively on the web, but the solutions cover a wide time table and are varied at best.

What are the basic guidelines to follow ?

What strikes are you trying to do? Heroic? Or the ones from the map. The map strikes do not count towards anything, it must be through the strike directory

Don't map strikes count towards the 3 strikes/week for the Z's weekly bounties?

I don't believe they do. However, I am not 100% sure.

Map strikes don't count for some things, like completing the weekly strike count. They do count if you have to kill a particular boss type, though. Also, for the weekly powerful reward, you have to complete the strikes using the correct subclass for it as well. If you're using something like Gunslinger and it's on Void, it won't count towards your weekly completion.

I note that there is a difference between requirements for strike activities (any strike) and Strike Playsist (Only the playlist selected strikes in Vanguard). Be careful of the language...

It's a well known bug that bungie hasn't bothered to fix. Seems simple enough fix. The description is wrong. You don't get credit for completing bounties, you get credit for completing the strike with a certain subclass. Rotates every week. This week it's arc. So you got to play 3 strikes with arc subclass.

Also, if you're talking about bounties specifically, check the description. Sometimes they're very specific, like "in strike playlists get 30 void kills." You won't get credit for anything in nightfall, because it specifically only applies to random strikes.

I've tried the map strikes, but I've been focusing on directory strikes.

Where are the weekly strike requirements be listed ?

You Click The strike playlist open and bottom left u see icons. Hover mouse over them to see what the weekly singe (element u need to be) is.
