Just get some good weapons, I got the rewards from Shadowkeep story, the auto rifle, sniper rifle is nice.
I have green ammo sniper rifle first weapon, my auto rifle second and a big sniper rifle purple ammo gun in last.
Armour is just whatever i find.
Im at 906 LL currently with just random looted stuff. Been playing only a week or so.
I just have the grenade, and the area heal.
Just range everything, use big sniper to face smash on Boss at range.
Games so easy you don't even need arc skills but I am only playing PvE content.
If you get in a tight situation just use the melee " C " and then " G " when they get low health if you are on PC.
PVE Arc is good, and the melee is excellent for lowering shields on elites, but I like using top tree void, because the ultimate combos with skull of dire ahamkara well, and I enjoy nuking anything that gets in the way.
Solar warlock is also viable. Honestly it's not that hard a class to play. Just blast everything, and try to plant your rift thingy in helpful places.
There's lots of good warlock exotics.
For weapons, run the same stuff you did on your Titan.
Warlocks are awesome at crowd control - learn by watching others.
Played with quite a few Warlock character players (most likely their main) and they're nice to have around. I Main a Titan and alt a Hunter and know little of the Warlock class, but appreciate even the most trivial Warlock player - disregard any salt and get comfortable with the class.
The best tip I have for you as a Warlock is to expect to try twice as hard as everyone else and see half the results.
Best spec is middle tree void, it will be your only way to get a free kill; we don't have 1-shot melees.
i wouldn't quite say it's bad for pvp and wallhacks really means nothing in this game unless you struggle to play without one and need one to use as a crutch lol. there's a lot of good warlock pvp combos out there but it honestly depends on your own playstyle mixing with the class' playstyle. I can't really give a proper input on what's good with warlocks because i main hunter, but i can easily say that i can lockdown a flag much easier with me warlock than my hunter though, again, that comes down to playstyle.
Silly sods always underestimate the puny area-denial grenade.
Tag enough enemies with a charged (while using contraverse holds) grenade and you get it back instantly, and if not you can just use your melee to get half a charge for more grenade fun.
