Not getting exotics in 950 nightfall ordeal

I heard that exotics drops around once every three times if you get platinum by killing all the champions. I have ran the nightfall on legend difficulty 10 times yet got an exotic once and got enhancement prisms every time. I got platinum 8 times and gold the other 2 times. I wondering if I needed to get platinum get over 100,000 and complete the nightfall in under 20min. I am not sure what exactly I am doing wrong. It says that enhancement prisms are uncommon while exotics are common in legend 950 difficulty yet I seem to only be getting enhancement prisms so what am I doing wrong?

IIRC, the threshold for bonus rewards from score is actually ~115k, though you only need to hit that once (per reset?). I'm not sure if it applies to exotics though.
As long as you're getting platinum, you're not doing anything wrong.
It's just RNG screwing you, as it does us all.

Exotics are still completely RNG, no matter how big the odds are.

So if I got less then 115k does it mean that its fairly likely to get no exotic and no enhancement prism. Also do you need to get above 115k and get platinum to maximize your chance of getting an exotic?

As far as I know, you just need to kill every Champion to get highest chance of exotic at 950. That's the 'farm'. The max chance is still 'uncommon'.

Literally cleared a 980 last night and none of us got an exotic.

It is still RNG like razer says.

Doesn't really matter.. I had a few exotic drops aswell with like 83k score on a 920/950.. It really is RNG.
