What are shield piercing weapons?

Im confused as the game doesn't say if a weapon is shield piercing or not..

You need a anti-barrier mod for that or Erianas Vow. You can get the mod from the Season Artifact.

The only weapon that is inherently shield-piercing is Eriana's Vow. Otherwise you need to get the Shield breaching mods from the seasonal artifact and mod an appropriate weapon.

How do i get erianas vow?
Says its a season pass reward yet I dont see it on my tree at all, I have bought all the expansions and bought the season pass

You don't anymore. You got it as a reward in the last Season, just like Symmetry in this one. Maybe they will give it out again someday but that wouldn't be of any use to you now.

EDIT: Bungie intends to add Erianas Vow as a world drop exotic eventually, so it will return at some point.

Eh, I personally don't think it is all that bad. Although it is a pretty ham-fisted at getting players out of their comfort zone and force them into using other weapon. I think that is not inherently a bad thing but so many legendaries that I liked a lot were made completely obsolete because bungie thought it would be really cool if only newer weapons get mod slots. It is also not all that self-explanatory as a new player like many things in D2.
Imo they should've added a requirement for at least one mod to the matchmaking for 920 NF strikes, as having to carry two people who either don't understand it or want to show off their fancy exotics is quite annoying.

wish ender bow has anti barrier if u do not equip unstoppable bow in your artifact. i think the artifact overrides its pierce - makes it unstoppable instead.

Odd, I have unstoppable and one shot from Wishender drops barrier and stuns the champ.

That is not how it works, a weapon with an Intrinsic Anti-Champion effect cannot have one from the Artifact

Also, why are you commenting on a 4 year old post
