Black armory armor farm
So I need the black forge armor to do a rare bounty but forge farm is proving fruitless. I have done the Scourge of the past raid this week already; Is there no other way to get it?

It's a rare bounty and you can't just go get another one. There is only a chance of getting a rare BA bounty when you complete a BA weekly quest and there are only 2 of them per week so highly unlikely you would be able to get another one right away.

To get the BA armors other than from the weekly bounties, you need to forge BA weapons.

First, you do the quest and run the forge to get 2 weapons to dismantle for 3 schematics apiece and then you can buy the forge polymer with those 6 schematics.

Once you have a forge polymer, your next forged weapon will guarantee an armor drop when you finish the weapon.

So, once you have a polymer applied, you forge a weapon and get an armor piece, dismantle the weapon then forge another weapon and dismantle it to buy a new polymer, rinse and repeat until you have all of the armor types.

Once you get into a pattern with it, you should be able to get several armor pieces an hour.

Some places I've seen it being mentioned that it can be quite quick to just run back to back forges to complete the quest steps of kills and radiant loots then visit ada to turn in that step before running more forge to finish the weapon.

I usually just run some level 1 escalation protocol though because the first part is all thralls that die super fast to get kills portion and then there is a flood of "powerful" enemies and a boss that drop randiants. If you're not unlucky or in a mars full of 10 other people, you can finish the quests in under 5 minutes, visit ada and run your forge.

you can buy the purple armour thing from Ada-1 which will guarantee armour drop at the forges.

do a few forges.

Quick question will I still get rewards if I keep running the raid or do I have to wait for reset?

Wait the raid set counts as black armory?
If I were to mix and match raid and forge set could I still get it to count as a full BA set for the quest?

The raid is supposed to have better odds. I did it and got nothing.

I assume you're stuck on the Black Armory Regalia Rare Bounty like I was. The Raid Armor does NOT count for this rare bounty.
It was a very painful grind for me.

First, do all the Daily Bounties, every day, for 4 guaranteed Modulus Reports per day.
Use Modulus reports to buy Legendary Frames from Ada-1.
My favorite way to complete those was to run the Core Terminus Lost Sector on Mars. In there, I could easily get all the multikills / precision kills I needed and then killing the boss at the end also got me half the Radiant Seeds.
After forging the Legendary weapon, I would dismantle it for 3 guaranteed Black Armory Schematics.
If you happen to get any of those Black Armory Prototype weapons to drop after completing a Forge, dismantle them too for a chance to get another BA Schematic.
Use 6 BA Schematics to buy a Forge Polymer from Ada-1, which guarantees a BA Armor piece at the end of your next Forge. There is no duplicate protection.
Keep doing this over and over again.
It goes without saying that you need to complete the 2 Weekly Bounties after every weekly reset for any of this to work. Each Weekly Bounty also drops a random piece of BA Armor.

The Raid Armor also doesn't count for the step which requires you to Infuse Radiance of the 4 Forges, if that's what you're referring to.

the armour from the forges is the BA armour.
Yes dismatle the weapons to get the items Ada-1 requires.
You should be able to buy at least 2 different weapon frames and perhaps a research frame as well/

How does raid armor complete a forge bounty? Scourge armor isn't forge armor even though it's reskinned.

I assumed since for tribute hall triumphs, both the Leviathan raid set and the Menagerie set count
