Does the season of dawn gear expire

Hi there
I've recently started playing a ton of Destiny and I'm on that power level grind
This might be a stupid question but does the Season of Dawn gear obtained expire after the end of the season

PS: I'm also looking for a clan to join

I've read complaints about the perks being erased from last season on seasonal armor and weaponry. Didn't notice on my equipment they are still here.

Any Season mods from the artifact will not work after the season is over, even if they are still applied. Any other items earned during the season will persist.

Will the dawn mods for the actual righteous armor sets that go into the dawn slots go away after this season is gone? Or will they stop working I guess is a better way to put it?

Use the official destiny app or go to bungie.net. There should be tab called community on the top. Click on clans to search for one to join. You can also click on forums and click clan recruitment. Plenty of clans post in there looking for people to join their ranks.
