Has anyone tried out the Trophy Hunter ?
The legendary sniper that drops from the season of dawn pass. Putting Dragonfly on a 72 rpm, 3 shots weapon seemed lile a questionable choice but maybe the weapon is actually good, what do you think ? Any actual experience with it ? Cheers. EDIT I just learned it could roll randomly from obelisks, so my comment about the perks isn't justified

Could be good for PVE but I prefer sniper with Rapid hit or Auto loading.
For PVP, I use Rapid Fire frame with low zoom and high aim-assist.

It's pretty decent actually, high aim assistance and good zoom imo

Depends on what mode are you talking about,
If its PVP then definately not, it only have 46 aim-assist and cant roll "No distraction" perk.

More like Pve. As a boss killer. Beloved has Box breathing and a bigger mag, Trophy has Vorpal but I dunno how good it is

Its pretty good if you get Triple tap + Vorpal weapon

You might also need to get magazine size perks for trophy hunter, 3 is too low and better use Boss spec for the mod slot.
Its total around 30% ish damage boost if you get Vorpal weapon + Boss spec mod that always on (or is it 23% i cant remember for sure).

Would you happen to know how much damage boss spec, alone, adds to the weapon ? So far I have been thinking of Backup mag as the go-to mod for snipers due to how much punch each round packs, but maybe it's not

Would you happen to know how much damage boss spec, alone, adds to the weapon ? So far I have been thinking of Backup mag as the go-to mod for snipers due to how much punch each round packs, but maybe it's not
around 8% ~ 10% iirc, but that was tested long time ago, dont know if they change it or not.

For PvE, especially if doing content solo, you want to roll one with Triple tap and Vorpal, then it will be the best legendary sniper you could have for boss encounters.

I got one with lead from gold + vorpal and another with Triple tap + vorpal and depending on how you play both would be very good but for soloing i prefer tt+vorpal because i got 4 rounds + boss spec.

And btw boss spec is 7% dmg buff and vorpal 15% - at least that's what i tested the last days (boss spec + vorpal is around 22% lower crit dmg then whisper with box breathing)

Izanagi says hi aswell, putting whisper of the worm on his fishing line and fishing for OP bosskills...

(youll need the sniper loading mods tough :D )
