Creating a second character

After 100 hours playing Hunter i decided to create a warlock.
I can use weapons from my vault and i can collect the season pass rewards on each of the 3 characters. I know this.

There are also all destinations unlocked for me but do i have to play everything from 0 again?
I mean i cant find quests and bounties im holding with my first char. Do i have to unlock activities like the menargerie and the chalice all over again?

I can raise my power level quickly thats not the problem. My only worry is that i have to unlock certain activities through grinding again.

New character means doing everything over again story wise, yes. You don't pick up where your other character left off.

Bounties are tied to the character as well as most pre-Shadowkeep quests and story progress. Only new seasonal quests are account wide

What do you mean with seasonal quests?
My quests and bounty slot is completly empty

You can pick pinnacle and seasonal quests from respective NPC (Zavala, Shaxx etc) and continue your progress. Obelisk progress is shared too

Some progress is shared, like certain account-wide ritual/pinnacle weapon quests, the Dawning stuff, Infamy/Valor, etc, but it won't be available until you finish the new light intros with the respective vendors again, if they have them. I don't recall if you get the chalice straight to your inventory, but if you don't, its unlock progress is account wide (bonus rolls are per character).

Campaign progress doesn't carry, but that's hardly a big deal, and certain other ritual/pinnacle weapon progresses don't either for some reason (Redrix's for instance). AFAIK most exotic quests can be repeated, but I just remove them on alts and use DIM to move stuff around.

Basically you can just do the new light intros real quick and discover what quests are account wide; they'll be listed as "abandoned quests."

Depends on the activity. I think you keep menagerie chalice progress.
