Sharp Flavor no droppy drop

Killed probably close to 100 enemies with legendary and rare swords. No drops. Do I need to be in an activity? I've just been running around in Patrol.

It and Bullet Spray often feel like they drop about as rarely as Exotics.

you dont need heavy ammo to use sword,just keep kiling sharp flavors will drop
just going roam

the most i have is bullet spray, actually. that and null taste. but i'm guessing it's really just rng? i got like two from going in a lost sector (because i needed it for radiant seeds). so maybe just make sure you have ammo on your swords, i guess?

Pull out your black talon and swing away. Baking ingredients take a bit to start to drop, then they flow like a river

well that's discouraging. I have a bounty that expires in an like 10 mins that needs a sharp flavor. Poor shaxx won't get his treats.

If your on a planet the expiery will not take effect until you get into orbit again

if its same as all other bounties, you can still do it after it expired, aslong as you dont leave the planet/return orbit or jump to another teleport on the same planet or log off...

On the first day took me 6 hours straight by travelling on all destinations, doing public events to grab all rare and uncommon ingredients. So you have to play without leaving the game for almost a day to get all bakery parts.

I get like 30 of each material in just a few hours....., well except one, one mats you can get for using finisher, nobody got time for that!.....
And if i wasnt lazy to collect the last part, dawning essence, i could've bake around 400 cakes now :P

Zero ammo sword still count as Melee Ability Kills,Melee Kills and Sword Kills

i dont like using a sword after ammo is empty, its just so slow to swing at enemies then, its simply faster to just use normal melee and go crazy with it :P

Bounty doesn't expire until I leave. True. I'm on mars getting materials. Shaxx is at the tower. I have to turn it into Shaxx to complete the bounty. So the bounty not expiring really doesn't help.
