To me it sound like you using a 20+ years old pc....
Radeon RX 560 4 GB
128 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
2 x 3,46 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
but i'm on a VM so it is set to use :
2 gb of graphics card (not ram but vram)
128 gb 1333 MHz ram
8 core 3,46 GHz
Secondly. Its using a VM that makes it go ass
Maybe getting a new better one will sort the problem out.
Check to see if you have the latest drivers.
this is what windows "see" as graphics card mounted

VM's are more basic than a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2005 HP PC. They are ment for training mostly. How to install a OS or work with a program without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over your own PC.
D2 does support linux so you wouldn't need to run VMware in the first place, if you're not deep diving, running bots or just layered cheating there's no real reason to need VM .
run it on a windows system, get the linux version
if it still doesn't work set the resolution to the lowest value and if that works bump up until it breaks, then use the last working res
Can you play other games?
I've got a GTX 1060 6GB and run Destiny on very high settings on a extra wide monitor with no problems.
Artefact lines only mean one problem (from previous experience), your graphics card not up to the job anymore.
The GTX 1060 is not much more than a new RX560 if you need to purchase anew one.
Try playing around within the video settings in Destiny and lower some, may give some better results.
