Cross save question
I've been a day 1 player of D1 and D2 on console and am finally switching over to PC. I bought the Shadowkeep deluxe edition on PS4 that includes all of the season passes. I understand that I will have to re buy the dlc, but don't the season passes transfer over?

As I going around forum saw post here and there
You can't transfer your doc along with it, but those gun in your inventory seems like will be there
You just can't access the dlc event like raid and such

I don’t think any paid content other than gear carries over. You would need to buy everything again for whatever platform you want to play it on.

the Bought DLCs or Season Passes are Bounf on the Account, where you Bought it for. If you buyed it for Console then it is bound to Console. Cross Save brings you just the posibility to use ure Chars, Glimmer and Materials on Console, PC or other Platforms together. Not to have the Season Pass there. If u want to Play Season on PC, you have to unlock it on PC. So when u want to play DLC or Season on whole Platforms you have to buy it for all of them.

Destiny 2 expansions (ex: Forsaken, Shadowkeep) do not transfer between platforms with Cross Save. Destiny 2 Season Passes do move between platforms on the characters they were redeemed on.*

*Exception: Destiny 2: The Collection on Stadia includes Season Pass access at no additional charge. Players who have Cross Save enabled with their Stadia account who would like to access Seasonal content on other platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam) will need to purchase those Season Passes directly on one of those platforms.

So reading this article, it seems season passes would carry over but does this mean if they are purchased individually? Your account carries over but no licenses whatsoever carry over . You need to rebuy everything that you want.

Sounds like season passes carry over between platforms but Forsaken and Shadowkeep do not. That's news to me though. As far as I was aware, no paid content other than gear carries over.

But apparently according to the article I posted season passes will carry over. I'm just unsure if they will in my case since I got all 4 passes in the deluxe edition of Shadowkeep on PS4. I guess I'll see here in a few hours when destiny 2 is finished downloading.

That might be possible since season passes are redeemable but your best bet is to launch the game and see it for yourself.

Yeah it's all kind of confusing when it comes to the passes. I'm fine having to rebuy the DLCs.

Thanks. So I SHOULD be good. Good timing, as the D2 upgrade edition just dropped from $49 to $33 today. So IF i do have to buy the passes, it'll kind of even out price wise. Thanks for all the help guys. Looking forward to playing this at a much higher FPS than PS4. For those that don't know, consoles have a tough time running the game when you get to the boss in Garden of Salvation. It turns into a slide show after a few runs if you and your team dont run around grabbing glimmer and ammo between runs lol. Craziness.
