- Partition your disk or use 2 disks.
- Use virtualization so that you can have 2 completely independent instances of Windows.
- Reserve one of the instances for just your games, with very little else installed and make sure it cannot see your other disk.
Problem solved. And for performance you can even deactivate the instance that you are not using.
As long as the different software are not running and targeting the process it should be fine,i ve been playing with a few installed since begining never had problem with.
I had a problem with other game who state directly you have to delete x application before launching, in some case you can avoid that by renaming the executable or if they scan for signature, well virtualization is probably the way to go.
Also if you do some reverse analysis from time to time on potential threat it s probably better anyway.
I will try to use another partition (this is a good solution for me, to secure my work too)
