What's the best way to get a bow?

I've just started playing Destiny 2 for the first time a couple days ago and I was wondering what the best and easiest way to get a bow.

Random drops from the Tangled Shore.

Exotic quest line from Ada-1 and Banshee.

Bow frames from Ada-1.

^ prime engrams/regular legendary engrams can turn into bows as well

It's tough for a F2P player.

Eventually you'll unlock a place called The Tangled Shore. Do bounties from the vendor there, 'The Spider', he has some possible rare rewards, one of which is a bow.

Most reward engrams that drop on the ground in patrol areas, as well as lost sector rewards, public event rewards (I'd recommend focusing on Tangled Shore for this), and Banshee-44's reputation rewards, come from a loot pool that contains bows. On the other hand, Zavala, Drifter and Shaxx's engrams do not.

People will suggest 'get one from the forges/black armory' - ignore that. You need a bow already, to be able to do this.

the black forge is by far the easiest and can get you the fastest kinetic bow in the game. the spiteful fang is just crazy fast

but u need to have a bow first to finish the form.

Bows are good. . . but they require patience, if you're new to the game that's not a weapon you should jump right into lol.
