Are there any "easy" raids?

So I've been a Destiny 2 player since the PC version launched way back when in 2017 or so. I have done everything in the game basically, except raids as I'm literally afraid to do them (so to speak) because of the mechanics they throw in and all that. Not to mention there's no matchmaking etc (I know they have the guided beta now). So that being said, are there any raids that are "easy" aka not many weirdo mechanics or insane platforming involved? Hell, are there any raids one can try solo?

I need to start getting pinnacle gear at this point I think (I'm at 926 light) since even powerful gear 2/3 barely increases my light level. I know at 950 the grind is insane, but hey that's the game right?

People have been telling me the Menagerie is an easy raid thing. But from all the raids I played, no.

Solo-able raids, i dont think so, closest is 2 mans. You could start off at Eater of Worlds or Leviathan since I think those are the easiest. There is no matchmaking but there is a discord server you could join ( https://discord.gg/GjMsEr ), its the destiny 2 LFG Pc server with a whole load of players looking for any activity you can think of in the game. There are also people willing to help you go through raids as long as your willing to learn. At 926 light, I would encourage you to not do Garden of salvation or Crown of Sorrows until you get higher to atleast 940

That seems to be the only solo-able raid. But he also asked for "Easy" lol

Also he's talking about destiny 2 not 1. D2 raids have mechanics that are designed for many people while D1 had it possible for 1 person

Well, you can easily get to 950 without touching raids. I'm one of those.

I was pretty sure me labeling Destiny 1 was a dead give away i was talking about Destiny 1. Its an easy raid, its soloable, its a destiny game....Might as well play #1 for this.

Thanks guys. Just to be clear, by "easy" I mean for a first timer and not with insane puzzles or mechanics that a guided pub group would have problems with.That being said, I will probably join the Discord at this point to find a group.

Some of the raids are easier than others for sure but I wouldn't say that any of them are easy on your first run. Don't let that put you off though... I'd recommend using this Discord server https://discord.gg/w7kk6M to find a sherpa (guide) to help you with your first raid. They will likely be pretty experienced and be used to people making all kinds of stupid mistakes, so it should be a pretty low stress environment for your first raid.

Failing that I'm thinking I might do a Leviathan run tomorrow evening. You're welcome to join if I do... I'll be taking a bunch of other people who haven't run a raid before along.

I wouldn't recommend Garden of Salvation for your first raid. It's pretty much the hardest raid in the game at the minute. You don't need pinnacle gear until you're 950 anyways.

The two raid lairs might be the easiest, I think they are the shortest at least (Leviathan: Spire of Stars and Leviathan: Eater of Worlds). Some raid encounters also have easy rolls you can slot into your first times, like add clearing, so it usually isn't too bad.
