Understanding vendor reputation
I know that as I play I get items that I can turn in to each vendor/character for reputation with him/her. And that as I get enough reputation the vendor will will give me some stuff.

But there are several things that I don't understand:

- Do the items I turn in for reputation ever have other uses? In other words, are there items I should hoard for those other uses, and if so which?

- Are all the items that vendors give me in exchange for reputation pretty lame, or are there any truly useful things that they will give me? Or maybe some good quests will unlock? If so, can you give me some examples?

- Do you eventually reach max reputation, or is it a constant increase?

Planetary vendors are materials sink for veterans that hoarded enormous amount of resources and tokens during Y1. The only purpose of their items is to fill collections tab for badges and triumphs.

Zavala and Shaxx have some decent stuff and accept tokens that have no other uses.

Banshee rep is a weapon parts sink for vets too.

Mats are required to buy upgrade utems from Banshee and for barter with Spider

Each day a different vendor cam give on lvl or above gear. This is important if your trying to power level yourself if between 750-950 light level

Also I say gunsmith, vanguard and crucible vendor tokens are the most important since there is a chance you get mods from them.

As for if their any good, its subjective. If they have a good roll then it could be of use to you like maybe a sword from crucible.

As for reputation cap, those no longer exist. Your just exchanging tokens for stuff now.
