I think both sides have flaws on how things are done. Still zavala is a true vanguard that understands 1) the fort needs to be held 2) communcation and working together with a common goal despite our differences.
Ultimately drifter is 1 guy, vanguard is the whole other party of characters. And Drifter has his own agenda.
I disagree with that as a principle so it was quite a nobrainer choice. If we as guardians are going to win this impossible fight we need to stand united.
Divide and conquer tactics are fine, but they can still be done under the umbrella of fellow brothers in arms against the enemies of humanity.
The entire game is built upon cringe. But as far as the storyline goes, I'm on point.
Currently there isn't. But there will be consequences at some point.
