Making a new character?

So right now my main character is a Hunter but i want to switch character, kinda wanna try titan my question is, if make a new character do i have to get all the weapons back again? just recently i manage to get the Recluse and i can't be bothered to grind all over again to get it in a new character.

you can transfer it by using Destiny Item Manager: https://app.destinyitemmanager.com/, or by placing your weapons and other gear into your vault at the tower, and retrieving them on the other character.

All characters share the vault so you can bank your Recluse and pick it up as soon as you get to the tower on your Titan.

Like already mentioned either use the vault to transfer items between characters or use the collection.

Yes, vault items and inventory are account-based which allows you to swap high-level gear from one character to another, effectively leveling up that new character instantly. You may also reclaim any fixed-roll item from your collections. Quest progress however is character-based.

Weapons like Recluse or Delirium will show up in the collections screen, so you have the option to spend some resources to reacquire it to give it to a new character OR do the quest on a new character

u can get most weapons back from collections and u can put them in vault so other chars can use them and get them out of the vault. u can also redo the exotic quests that u have already finished with ur hunter

Any owned weapon can be claimed on any character, so you dont need to grind again for the Recluse

as long as you don't delete the hunter you keep everything, the vault is there to transfer guns and gear across characters. all you really have to re-earn is the armour since a titan can't wear hunter gear. you can have up to three characters

you can craft recluse from collection i think but it will have lower lvl, or you can just transfer item by destiny item manager

No your weapons & gear are shared with your alt characters using your vault. That's as well how you can quickly increase your new alt light level by the way, have a check at this video :
