MIDA Multi Tool Underwhelming
This gun honestly feels pathetically weak in damage dealing when it comes to PvP. Is this gun only used as a utility weapon in the crucible? 7 body shots and 4 headshots to kill is horrendously weak compared to any other scout rifle.

nearly all year 1 exotics are pretty underwhelming.

Is it only used as a utility tool because of the movement speed increase you get from having it equipped?

I found the Mida to be crap, I have no idea why people always seem to be talking it up.
Shiroe (cortana) Nov 5, 2019 @ 1:16pm
its bcoz of the radar and movement speed you get with both of the mida weapons..

So its more of a utility piece than an actual weapon.

if MIDA will kill with 3 headshots at 200rpm, that would be too OP

3 headshots 1 body, 100 aim assist so very easy crits, good mag size, good reload speed, sprint faster, keep radar on ADS.

One of the less boring scouts, but still pretty boring.

It sucks because this gun was a beast in D1. I remember going crazy with MIDA in Iron Banner.
Yeah but now you go crazy in iron banner with recluse, erentil, hammerhead mountaintop the list goes on

Still have one sitting in the vault in case it turns out there's something really good about it that I missed.

The MIDA mini tool (smg) on the other hand is pretty fun to use (somehow it seems better than its stats suggest).

At least, the SMG is alright and the set effect is much the same.

early year 1 of destiny 2 Mida was the meta for anything pvp. It was nerfed shortly after.

In year 1 it was great. Now not so much, too many weapons have eclipsed it and better options came out in year 2.

And SUROS Regime... Vex Mythoclast....oh my god I miss those
yep...i do too...back when destiny 2 first came out, any pvp, even trials, when it was available, required mida to even give you a chance. The weapon was just that overpowered back then. Which Bungie then nerfed the weapon and pretty much all scouts.
Its a teamshoot weapon... -.-
