does anyone really ever use guided game?
just wondering, because i have yet to ever get a raid going with this. i've had less luck with this than using the stupid app, even. i only want to get through enough of it to get a certain auto rifle, and god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damn, i just sit here at this screen like a moron.

Since game moved steam not realy same goes for Destiny2lfg website - people stoped using it.You better off using discord and ask around to join a group.

I would suggest you to rely on discord channels or companion to find the groups.
It is going way faster and easier. We did few runs with clanmates in guided games last week.
People that joined us, suggested that they waited for 30-60 minutes in matchmaking, while it was only a minute or two for our group of five. My point, that it seems not many groups are willing to do guided games.

i would rather sit on a cactus than ever try to organize or join another raid with the companion app. so in essence, until i find a clan that does sherpa stuff i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥. god i hate raids.

Welcome to any third party program you use.

Try reading apps on phones. Should read the ToS for online games. They literally all watch you.
