Fireteam Connection issue

For some reason I can't play in a fireteam with my friends. either one or both of us gets kicked the moment we join in. Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can try? We both have open .nat types and good internet service. Works just fine in solo with random people.

Sadly no I have not. And let me tell you it doesn't get much better, I keep getting randomly kicked just from about anything.

It is happening to me too all of a sudden. Kicks me out of a game for no reason and i rarely see anyone in the open world. What is happening? Server problems?

Make sure the fireteam leader has the best pc/connection from the rest, usually thats the case since game is peer2peer. Happen in other games and usually this fixes that because peer2peer mean everyone connect to a room host maybe in destiny its the fireteam leader.

It's not peer to peer. It can't be. How is it P2P when there is PvP and ranked matches in this game? It leads to lots of advantages for the host then.

Well let me tell y'all my wife and I play in the same house, same stuff, etc etc. We have very nice internet, works great on every other game, nice router all that fun stuff. Even in the same room, while on the same team we will get kicked from each others game.

Sorry. I download and take all your bandwidth ;P. No. For real: This problem was at other games to. Steam server related. You can try 2 things..


Pick Steam -> Settings -> downloads and choose another, maybe closer/faster or lesser traffic server.

Or enable steam beta at steams settings. The hottest hotfixes for steam fast as possible. I also can not play with this normal steam. Because of my specific configuration(real 8 cores).

For more Steam related support they help. at "Help". Only as far as steam can do something.

Unfortunately I have the same problem .for years I am playing this game and my brother but now after the last update i can't be in the same team as my brother specifically ,when i join i will be kicked or when i join he will be kicked and an error message will pop up NAT issue. tried opening all the ports and still the same.

It's become significantly less frequent now, but I absolutely still believe it is a connection issue on bunjie's server. Nothing I've done on my end really works except for keep tinkering and trying to rejoin. Sometimes you need to full exit the game and then come back
