memory of sai mota quest bugged?

I have to collect 20 necklace scraps and I kill nightmares with arc abilities and I get nothing? I've killed multiple with either melee ability, arc grenades, arc super.. and nothing? Is anyone else able to get necklace scraps from nightmares?

Are you killing the nightmares on the moon with arc abilities? Look in Sorrow's harbor for nightmares.

i did this about a week ago at the moon only difficulty is hunter's ark abilitiys isnt good enogh to one shot you either have to spam melee or go for the super and if you consider the other players around it also makes it even harder make the last shot.

I also finished the quest about two weeks ago in the Harbor of Sorrow because the scraps wouldn't drop for me from nightmares in lost sectors. Nightmare bosses will give you 3 necklace scraps each but you have to make sure the finishing blow is arc ability damage. You will get nothing if other players land the last shot on the nightmare.
You can do damage with other weapons to weaken them but assists in killing and grenades as finishing blows won't work. It has to be either your arc melee or arc super.
