EDIT: some of them are even hidden - just like on the PS4. Now that's not to say they won't do it - I just doubt it. There's no need.
On the other hand, Microsoft and Sony require achievement support, and Valve does not. Since the PC version on Battle.net had no achievements, a straight port to this platform might omit them.
Bungie seems obsessed with their 2000 in-game Triumphs, and the console achievement list for Destiny 2 is pretty slim. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't even like achievements and decide to just ignore them on PC.
If I had to guess, I'd go with no Steam achievements. If that's the case, they've lost my purchase.
