You either play long enough that you stop sucking, or you stop trying.
Look up some PvP guides.
Observe the gear people are using to kill you(inspect player after match by clicking their name and selecting the option to) and consider what that person has in common with other players.
The thing about survival mode, is that players are very "sweaty" aka they are playing with somewhat higher stakes and you should be prepared to lose, a lot. However, it is not impossible to beat them, especially if you stick nearby teammates and provide them fire support as often as possible.
When wounded, don't sit around. Run away, recharge, and re-engage with better support from your own team. Dying is the worst thing you can do in this game mode.
Was there flying monkeys too?
Most maps are hard-locked to mid-to-close range fighting cause of map design. The free exo, Erianas Vow is fabulous tho.
. If I have to grind for good weapons to use in a player vs player game mode where rank is supposed to measure skill, what is the point of having competitive. Each map is designed in the same way. One or two wide open areas and everything else is close range. The only exception I can think of is the archeology on titan. Playing the long game is harder if the map confines you to a certain location. If ranked was like momentum control it would be a lot more skill based. Mostly requiring frags to regen abilities instead of capping discipline or intellect.
Console shooters are designed for consoles and console shooters are ♥♥♥♥♥.
When you win an achievement of killing 10 ppl in a single life in IB then die to people in survival getting one shot from hand cannon certainly you would want to question what's going on, and yes I have run trough 10 page from uncle google before I decide to post this on the forum.
I have run trough all the modes, I like IB the most but bungie didn't make that a permanent. I have no problem loosing, I want to know what am I loosing for, lack of dmg? Lack of gear? Aim and opportunity shot is certainly not a problem as I always land a good few punch before opponent realize, but when you land so many head shots and still not able to down them until they find cover then charge up and proceed to melee you I want to know what went wrong.
This is the last pvp mode I tested because its a different ranking system from other game mode. As a new player if I didn't learn about the recluse I wouldn't have touch this mode either.
While I agree that the maps are three console generations old in terms of design focus(or 12 years for PCMR nerds), there are some sections of most maps that are relatively wide open and invalidate a number of weapons at the engagement distances. Even some Pulse Rifles won't work well at the distances they offer. Can't name them because I don't know them well enough tbh, but there are a good amount.
I disagree. Momentum Control gives you full health regeneration on kills, requires very little in the way of tactics to get kills, and given the amount of health you have would result in extremely short matches or outright camping strats. A lot of people hate MC, as well, because of these reasons. The Scout Rifle meta returns, and a lot of powerhouse weapons are a less viable option than they should be. Power Weapons themselves become an afterthought as you can 1-2 shot people with a Kinetic weapon like Does Not Compute or Go Figure. We're not talking about SWAT on Halo, we're talking about still needing to break shields and all that fun stuff.
Umm, D1 was console exclusive and it had the same map design. Destiny is a console game, they just ported it to PC.
No wonder you have 15 friends across 10 years as a Steam user.
Because I add people who are actually my friends and not randos I meet online? And what are you even on about? I only said that Destiny is a console game, hence the console design decisions in the game, not just maps but in general.
